Statement of Faith

Hope First Family Resource Center is an organization of Christ’s followers joined by a common mission. This statement of faith is not the sum total of everything each of us believes or practices but purposely integrates passionate pro-life advocates from all Christendom (Evangelical, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Charismatic, and non-denominational) as it highlights our shared profession of Jesus Christ, our Lord and God.

• We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the divinely inspired, inerrant, authoritative written Word of God.
• We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, fully God and fully man. For our salvation, He came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was born of the Virgin Mary.
• For our sake, He was crucified, died and was buried. He rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
• We believe that Jesus Christ will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and that his kingdom will have no end.
• We believe in salvation by grace received through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone, through His life, death and bodily resurrection, redeems us from sin and reconciles us to God.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers, who together form one Church of which Christ is the Head.
• We believe in the continuing ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who empowers the worship, service and witness of God’s people in all their activities.
